Beauty

OK, beauty is practically a prerequisite for standing in society these days. Not to bring up Edith Wharton again, but the plainness of many young ladies (and gentlemen!) was excusable in the Olden Days of New York society probably in part because in those days not even money could buy looks--and because, to be honest, the ladies in her day could not reasonably expect designers to buy their clothes for them just because they looked so good in them. But the contestants we've entered in the Beauty category owe an especial debt to their genetic and sartorial advantages. Do some of these socialites belong in the Brains section? Probably. Use the comments section to make the case.
